Free renewable energy is not a new concept. This might be hard to believe but a machine to harness free renewable energy was built over a century ago. The inventor of this machine was Nikola Tesla, who was the real father of electricity. In the year 1899, at Shoreham, Long Island, Nikola Tesla built an enormous magnifying transmitter, a machine that could transfer the radiant energy always here in the atmosphere into electrical energy. His ground-breaking invention did not obtain the exposure it deserved, and remains in insignificance even today, because of a number of reasons.
Tesla had to get funding for this enormous project so he turned to an investor by the name of J. P. Morgan. Tesla had tried to keep the investor from the implications of the device, but eventually had to reveal the potential of the magnifying transmitter. But instead of being ecstatic, the investor feared the huge downward blow it would have on electrical companies, and refused to fund project any longer. He even went to the point of lobbying other investors to stop them from funding Tesla work.
The laboratory Tesla used burned to the ground, there wasn’t any evidence leading to the investor for this crime. Eventually, Tesla’s dream of ‘Free renewable energy for All’ suffered a very early end.
True enough the magnifying transmitter didn’t obtain the anticipated interest and popularity. Today people rely on hydroelectric and fuel based power plants for their electricity supplies. But Tesla’s ideas did transcend to a number of enthusiasts all over the world who kept working tirelessly on the concept of free renewable energy over the years.
